How beautiful is the land we live on! With such beauty surrounding us, it does help to take our minds off the ever-increasing price of gas, housing and living expenses we must all try to endure.
Church services at Epsom United Church for the month of June are on the 12th, 19th, and 26th at 10 a.m. A warm welcome is extended to all.
All ladies of the community are invited to a “Summer Pot Luck Luncheon” at Epsom United Church on Tuesday, June 14th, at 12 noon. We missed getting together with all ladies of the community these past two years and would love to share a visit with you.
After a two-year hiatus, the Utica Cemetery Board is pleased to invite you to join us at our Utica Cemetery Board Decoration Service, where we celebrate the lives of those at rest in the Hillman and Kendall Cemeteries in Utica, Ontario. We ask you to extend this invitation to friends, neighbours and family members for whom we may not have email contact information.
Please come out, decorate the resting place of your loved ones and ancestors and join us for a short service in Utica United Church, where we can reflect together on the lives of those that have gone before us in love and celebration.
We appreciate and rely on your support to cover the cost of maintenance for our cemeteries. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation at decoration or any time.
Note tax receipts require the donor’s name and address. For our records, we appreciate an email address to save on postage and a contact phone number.
Donations can be made in many ways. Cash donations can be delivered to Pat Kerry at Green Tractors in Utica. Cheques can be made payable to Utica Cemetery Board. Please deliver to Pat or mail to Box 717, Port Perry, ON L9L 1A6. E-Transfers can be sent to uticacemeteryboard@gmail.com. Credit Card payments can be made online at Canadahelps.org (Canada Helps will issue tax receipts).
Copies of the Cemetery Board By-laws in the new format and containing some changes and updates will be available for those interested. We look forward to seeing you on June 12th at 2 p.m.
