Find family-friendly Thanksgiving weekend activities in and around Uxbridge. One is at Forsythe Family Farm, October 10th to 12th, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are located at 1025 Craig Road, Uxbridge. Enjoy a classic Farm Thanksgiving celebration featuring a corn maze, wagon rides, pumpkin picking, farm animals to feed and pet, a reading trail, and children's play areas. Lindsay Farmers Market offers a small version of the market on Thursdays featuring high-quality food, farm produce, vendors, and craftspeople. It's a great place to ask questions about how produce gets from the farm to your table. It is at Wilson Fields, 235 Colborne Street West, Lindsey, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Friends of the Lindsay Library are hosting Amy Terrill, author of No Secrets Among Sisters, on Saturday, October 17th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., downstairs in the Lindsay Library. Have you ever wanted to write a book? Come and hear her journey with her debut novel. For tickets, email: lindsaylibraryfriends@gmail.

Down East kitchen party, October 9th, at 7 p.m., at 96 King Street East, Bobcaygeon. Look for amateur singers, guitars, banjos, horns, spoons, fiddles. No auditions; you don't need to be good- just have fun, fun! Words and chords are displayed on the big screen to help you remember the songs. Come out and have some fun. There will also be karaoke. Free admission.
