Thank you to all those volunteers who helped the Hall and Park Board with our annual mixed Greenbank Baseball Tournament on September 25th-27th. There was a Community Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the completion of our LED Lighting system. Members of the Toronto Blue Jays Care Foundation provided activities and prizes for many of the youngsters. Over 20 Greenbank Lions supported the event.

The Lions are always looking for more men and women to join our club to provide service to the communities of Greenbank, Seagrave and Saintfield. Email larrydoble@hotmail.com for information. The Lions of Blackstock, Greenbank and Port Perry continue to run a Free Medical Equipment Loan Program. Phone 1-365-800-0019 to donate or obtain items.

On October 13th, Sheila Dodd will present on British Home Children at the Greenbank Centennial Hall at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Presented by the Sunderland Historical Society.
