SCUGOG: Mudmen Canada’s Celtic Rock Warriors have yet weathered another storm surviving the long covid 19 world shut down. Back and better than ever, Mudmen have a whole new line-up except for founding members Sandy & Robby Campbell. Mudmen return to Port Perry at The Town Hall Theatre Friday, January 7th, 2022, for an all-ages, family-friendly concert. Mudmen are no strangers to the area selling out the Town Hall 1873 theatre numerous times, performing at the Uxbridge Highland Games, the Port Hope Fair, and opening up for Johnny Reid, John McDermott, The Irish Rovers, to name a few.
Mudmen have just currently released the “Best of Mudmen” CD, which is selling very well, with a new Mudmen cd scheduled for an early spring release. Mudmen also have released a new trivia book, a perfect Christmas gift for that hard-to-buy person. Mudmen career highlights include meeting & performing for the Queen of England, performing at the 84 Edmonton Oilers Stanley cup team winning reunion with Wayne Gretzky, Sarah MacLaughlin and Red Ryder, performing at the CBC Oilers home opening ceremony, TSN’S Leaf/Bruins game, 8 Grey Cup fan-fests, The MacKenzie Bros TWO-Four CBC Special, reached #19 on the Edge radio top 20 countdown, opening up for ZZ Top, The Guess Who, Gord Bamford, Dean Brody, recorded pipes on the CBC Hockey Night in Canada anthem produced by Rock Icon Bob Rock where Ron Maclean said televised “Mudmen we love’em”. Mudmen have had music featured from their 10-studio CDs on WWE Wrestling, AE Sports Games, NBC’S The Black Donnelly’s, HBO’S Shameless, six music videos on Much Music /MTV, reaching #19 on the Edge radio top 20 countdown.
With 23 years together, Mudmen have performed at festivals, clubs and concert theatres in seven different countries, building a legion of fans from young to old.
