SEAGRAVE by Barb Martyn

We continue to see Thank You signs everywhere, for those who are providing valuable services to us. Tuesday, May 5th, marks the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Holland by Canadian Troops. The Dutch say a special ‘THANK YOU’ to all Canadian Troops for their freedom. Fran Taylor has some beautiful orange, 75th Anniversary liberation of Holland tulips blooming in her flower bed. Happy Birthday wishes to Jane Pettinger on the 6th, and Colton Drew on the 7th. Happy Anniversary to Donna and John Kent on the 8th. Wishing you peace and pleasant memories on May 10th and throughout the year. Happy Mother’s Day! Rick and I received a wonderful surprise on Saturday evening from A Taste of Community. A delicious meal supplied by Col. McGrady’s Pub in Uxbridge. Nicole Robertson, of Uxbridge, organized this community effort and delivers the food to your door. This organization provides donated, delivered meals as a gesture of kindness. They are people who care about others in this time of need. We Thank You. This week is the 4th week after Easter, and Sunday, May 3rd, is called Good Shepherd Sunday. The Scripture reading is Psalm 23. The first sentence reads: “The Lord is my Shepherd”. Yes, God is our caretaker! In these uncertain times, one thing remains sure: God is with us. Take the time to pray God is our lifeline.
