The 5th annual cruise and classic car and truck show takes place on Saturday, August 15th, from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Sunflower Farm located at Highway 48 and Side Road 17 in Beaverton. This event features vintage vehicles set against golden sunflower fields, accompanied by music from the second shift food trucks and local brews. Visitors and vehicle information: Vehicle check-in starts at 11:30 a.m. General admission tickets and separate vehicle registration will be available at the Sunflower Farm.
A wonderful summer tea event will join us for our annual summer tea at the historic Leaskdale church and home of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Enjoy a five-course luncheon with entertainment ranging from engaging talks to heartfelt performances, which starts on Wednesday, August 19th, at 3 p.m. The address is 11850 Regional Road 1, Uxbridge cost is $35. Come out and buy locally grown fruits and vegetables at the Bobcaygeon Farmers Market. Vendors are the backbone of the community and offer a diverse array of fresh, locally grown vegetables. It takes place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 613-473-2296.
