I am amazed at the creativity of the young and old during these complicated times. Some examples of this creativity are: designed cookies, colouring pages, sidewalk chalk designs, painted rocks, drive-by’s for front line workers, teachers greeting their students, truck loads of food being donated to food banks, singing, dancing and music. The monies collected are being donated to charities, and the list continues to grow. It’s the simple things that really matter. When life is pared down to it’s core essentials, it’s the love for family, people, nature, and most of all the love of life itself you can appreciate. If we all lived by the simple Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you”, we could live in peace. Happy Birthday wishes to Barb Martyn on June 18th.
