Pontypool rescheduled their Santa Claus parade. It will be December 6th at 6pm. If you are interested in entering a float, please message the Pontypool Community Center Support your Pontypool Community by buying a Christmas tree from a fire fighters $50 for a 6 to 7 foot tall tree, Fraser and Balsam fir, at the fire hall. Pre-order via honour System by sending a request on messenger on Facebook or email pontypoolfirefighters@gmail.com with a request that says I would like a tree and your full name if not pre-ordering its first serve basis cash only. Trees will be available on December 7th. Time will be announced later on if you cannot pick up your tree the firefighters will make sure you receive it. December 8th grab your new or gently used mittens, hats and scarves for the annual mitten toss at Bethany and Pontypool United church. 9:15am Bethany church, 11:00am Pontypool church. All items collected will be donated to a local shelter and families in need. Santa is coming for breakfast at the Bethany community hub at 3 George St. Sat December14th 8am to 11 a.m. $5 per person. Photos with Santa are $5. Come out and have breakfast with Santa. Bethany firefighters annual toy and food Santa run is Saturday, December 14th. Come out and see Santa and donate a toy or food, starting at 3:30 p.m. Pontypool firefighters annual toy and food Santa run is Sunday, December 15th. Come out and see Santa and donate a toy or food. Starting at 4 p.m. north subdivision and working its way south.
