Friday, May 5th

With a Little Help From Our Friends will be at the Port Perry United Church, at 7 p.m., tickets $20. Featuring Irwin Smith, Whitney Ross-Barris, Shirley Constable, Graeme Powell. Tickets are available at Meta 4, Herrington’s Quality Butchers and at the Door. This is a fundraiser for the Port Perry High School Music Department and Oak Ridges Hospice.

• Friday Night at the Foster concert featuring Ferrport Jaxx Ensemble, at the Foster Memorial in Uxbridge.

Saturday, May 6th

• Good Shepherd Catholic School presents Friends of Port Perry Mini-Putt FUNdraising Tournament from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sandbaggerz Driving Range and Mini Putt. For more info go to:

• Port Perry High School 150th Anniversary. Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school, 160 Rosa Street, Port Perry. Tours of the school will be at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

• Port Perry High School 150th Anniversary Social will be held at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre from 7 p.m. to midnight, for adults only (19+ event). Tickets $27.

• Spring Fling Lasagna Dinner at Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach Street, Port Perry. Come enjoy all-you-can-eat lasagna, salad, refreshments and dessert! Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for refreshments, fellowship, viewing the silent auction and dessert auction. Tickets are by donation only, limited quantity available. Sunday, May 7th

In conjunction with the Port Perry High School's 150th anniversary celebrations the Long-running Port Perry High School music groups Peapods Blues Revue and Eleven will be holding a reunion performance at Colonel Mustard's, at 2 p.m. We'll be featuring members from virtually every incarnation of each band, playing Rock and Soul classics.

Canoe the Nonquon. Registration at the Latcham Centre, 121 Queen Street, Port Perry on Friday, June 2nd from 6-9pm and Saturday, June 3rd from 7-10am. Registration fee is $65/canoe or kayak or SUP. Start anytime between 8-10:30am Saturday morning. Shuttle vans are available at either Robinglade Park (river only-12km) or Palmer Park (full course 20km). Fundraiser for Scugog Shores Museum Village.
