UXBRIDGE: After a four-year hiatus, the Uxbridge Baptist Church will be bringing back one of Uxbridge’s most popular holiday traditions this year, the Living Nativity.
The Uxbridge Baptist Church is to host the event in Centennial Park, over three consecutive nights, from Friday, December 15th, to Sunday, December 17th.
The Living Navtivity Committee explained, “even though [it's] our bi-annual event, it feels like a new start.” They praised their many partners from the community, including the township, local businesses, and other churches, who produce this “important part of the Christmas celebration, for many families from Uxbridge and the surrounding area.
The event features two performances nightly, offering the experience of the joy of that first Christmas in a manger in Bethlehem. The outdoor re-creation of the Christmas story features narration, authentic costumes, and live animals as part of the performances. Each evening of the Living Nativity will feature two nightly shows, at 7:30 p.m. and again at 8:15 p.m.
