UXBRIDGE: Car enthusiasts and community members will gather at Douglas Crossing Retirement Community, on Wednesday, September 2nd, for the retirement community’s annual Charity Car Show.

The event, running from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., will bring together local residents, businesses, organizations, families and automotive enthusiasts for an evening of vehicles, food and community fundraising.

Owners of classic cars, muscle cars, antique vehicles, motorcycles, specialty vehicles and other unique rides are invited to participate. Vehicle entry is free, with drivers able to begin arriving at 4 p.m. to select their parking spots.

The evening will feature a variety of classic and specialty vehicles, a complimentary barbecue, a 50/50 draw and raffle basket table. The event will also provide an opportunity for residents and visitors to connect with local businesses, organizations and community members.

As part of the charity effort, organizers will collect non-perishable food donations for a local food bank. Visitors are encouraged to bring a donation, if they are able, helping provide support to families in the community.

Douglas Crossing is also seeking local businesses and organizations which are interested in becoming event sponsors. Contributions can include: monetary donations, raffle prizes, gift baskets or other items to help support the event.

The Douglas Crossing Annual Charity Car Show will be held at Douglas Crossing Retirement Community, 6 Douglas Rd., Uxbridge, on September 2nd.
