Plan to attend the Bethesda-Reach W.I. dessert and fashion show, courtesy of Woods Clothing, at the Senior Centre Uxbridge, starting at 7 p.m., Thursday, September 28th. All proceeds go to scholarships for the high schools in Uxbridge and Port Perry.
Baby boy Brody was showered with well wishes and gifts as neighbour ladies gathered at Joann Beatty’s Medd Road home, on Friday afternoon, to welcome and cuddle Katelyn and Jack’s new little son. So many happy memories and times are wished for all.
Sixteen ladies enjoyed a 154 year combined birthday party for Shirley B. and Edith Ann S. on Saturday afternoon, held at Wooden Sticks in Uxbridge. I guess by the number of birthday years we’re celebrating there must have been many guests there, in their “golden” years. A fantastic time of fellowship and food was enjoyed by everyone. We’re thankful birthday parties celebrate older people too.
I hope this past week gave everyone time to just enjoy where we live, outstanding weather and that come again feeling of cooler, cozier evenings indoors. We are truly blessed.
