What was that thunder and lightning trying to prove on Saturday? There’s an old saying that it possibly means six weeks of open weather. I think many of us would appreciate that with the many acres of corn still standing in fields.
It was a wet start to the Uxbridge Santa Claus parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. I was so thankful the rain only lasted for a very few minutes. I loved seeing all the young people walking and riding with so much excitement on their faces..It was a great parade. Thanks to all the organizers and participants who put a smile on Santa's and Mrs Claus' faces as they wished everyone a “Merry Christmas.”
Remember the Canadian Foodgrains Bank Project on December 1st at 10 a.m., beginning with coffee and a muffin. You are invited to learn more about this giving organization.
This coming Sunday, Epsom United Church will celebrate 149 years of worship and outreach in this community. Join the congregation at 10:30 a.m. for this memorable Sunday with friends, followed by fellowship.
