I don’t have to tell you how HOT and dry it’s been this last week and continuing on for several days we’re told. It was a real blessing to get a half inch of rain Sunday morning to refresh everything.

Watching the crops becoming so stressed is heartbreaking.

Happy 99th Birthday to Dorothy Munro on the 15th. She is an amazing lady, and a wonderful neighbour and friend to all around her. She still lives on the farm which became her home since she was 18.

A birthday celebration is planned for Pat Asling on Saturday, July 26^th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Senior Centre, in Uxbridge. An invitation to come and wish Pat a Happy 85th. Best Wishes only.

Don’t forget the evening church service at Glen Major church each Sunday during July and August 7 p.m.

Come and gather at Epsom United Church this Sunday, with the service at 10:30 a.m. for fellowship and to celebrate Dorothy’s birthday too. Refreshments to follow.
