Port Perry Tennis Club 2026 Junior Championships

SCUGOG: The Port Perry Tennis Club (PPTC) held their 2026 Junior Tennis Championships on Sunday, August 16th.

The weather could not have been better. It was a nice sunny day with a slight breeze. Play began at 9 a.m., with 17 players competing in the Championships.

Six players competed in the 9 & Under Division with Justin Semoff and Addie Tasse advancing to the final.

Justin Semoff was the 2026 9 & Under Division Champion.

Six players competed in the 12 & Under Division with Wyatt Laird and Max Doyle advancing to the final.

Wyatt Laird was the 2026 12 & Under Division Champion.

Five players competed in the 16 & Under Division with Dale Kolumbus and Landen Sheehan advancing to the final. Dale Kolumbus was the 2026 16 & Under Division Champion.

The players had a great day with some very entertaining sets being played on all courts. The finals were very exciting with some very close matches.

Many thanks to Colin Hooper, our Club Pro, for organizing the event and giving the kids an opportunity to compete at the junior level. Thanks to all the spectators who came out to support our Junior tennis players.
