Epsom & Utica news

By Faye Ashton

We were blessed with perfect weather for all to enjoy this Victoria Day weekend. Hopefully the farmers struggling with wet land will be able to get out and plant the crop following a few days of near perfect conditions.

We send our sincere sympathy to Dennis and Dorothy (Brown) Gerrow in the death of their Grandson Joe as a result of a car accident this past weekend. Dorothy grew up in Utica and is the daughter of Vera Brown who was this paper's correspondent for Epsom-Utica for many years. We send our love and prayers to Joe’s parents and siblings and all family members.

The Pine Grove Spring Church service will be on Sunday, May 26th at 3 p.m. This is a beautiful little country church located on the 7th concession of Uxbridge, just North of the Goodwood Road.
