It’s amazing to watch the grass greening and the trees budding as each day we experience more daylight and warmer temperatures.
How can we be so blessed with such beauty and see such destruction around the world for so many others?
Wishing all celebrating a May birthday, anniversary or a special occasion a memory which is so special it lasts forever.
Our hearts were saddened to receive the news of the passing of Tom Anderson on Tuesday, April 23rd. Tom’s family came to live on the 7th concession (Medd Road) in 1945 from Islington. We were privileged to be a part of Tom’s 90th birthday celebration in November. Our deepest sympathy to Tom’s daughter Vanessa, son John and family, brother Bill and family and Sister Shirley.
We also send our condolences to Fred and Margaret VanUden and their Family in the untimely passing of Fred’s brother John of Markham on Friday, April 26th. We send our love and prayers to each of you.
Congratulations to Otters Greenhouse on their 25th Anniversary from all the surrounding communities. Seems impossible it’s been this long that Medd Road has seen the community flock to buy their healthy and gorgeous Spring and Summer plants.
The community is invited to a 'Spring Fling Brunch' in the lower room at Epsom United Church on Saturday, June 1st at 10 a.m. Come and join with neighbours. Price 'A Free Will Offering.'
Mark your calendar for the Prayer Breakfast on May 22nd, at 7 a.m. at Mill Run Golf Course. The special speaker is Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter.
A welcome awaits everyone on Sunday, May 5th, at Epsom United Church with a time to enjoy fellowship following the service with Rev. Edith Ann presiding.
