Emmanuel Community Church, led by its Biker’s Church ministry, is once again calling on the community for support, as it reaches the halfway point of its annual Bundles of Blessings campaign. The initiative provides essential items to homeless individuals, in the Port Perry and Peterborough areas, during the cold winter months.
Community members are encouraged to assemble a Blessing Bag—a backpack, duffel bag, or purse—filled with practical items, such as: warm socks, hats, scarves, sweatpants, or basic hygiene products, like: toothbrushes, deodorant, bandages, combs, and face wipes.
Donations will be gratefully accepted at Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach Street, and at Right At Home Realty, 237 Queen Street, until December 1st.
Emmanuel Community Church and Biker’s Church thank all who contribute, reminding the community, even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the life of a man or woman experiencing homelessness.
