Brooks and Bowskill hit the stage with the Hometown Beauts in Greenbank

SCUGOG: Have we got a show coming up for you. If you are into hearing just how much guitar talent, superb harmonies and fun the Greenbank Folk Music Society Stage can hold - then come and see Brooks and Bowskill with the Hometown Beauts on Saturday, Nov. 11th.

Jimmy Bowskill first played Greenbank in 2003, a young guitar prodigy at just 13 years of age, following the release of his debut solo album Old Soul. His remarkable career has included 12 subsequent recordings and such names as Jeff Healy, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top, Joe Bonamassa and Deep Purple. He was a member of the Sheepdogs rock band for many years and is a current member of Blue Rodeo.

We are excited to welcome him back to Greenbank in his latest musical collaboration - Brooks and Bowskill - along with their band The Hometown Beauts - with members Kyler Tapscott, Wayne DeAdder and Ian McKeown.

Ennismore's Melissa Payne will be here to open the night. With her background in old time fiddle and traditional celtic music, Melissa has evolved a blossoming solo career, including three full length albums.
