Durham Improv is coming back to Port Perry

by Stephanie Herrera

SCUGOG: Durham Improv is back with their comedy dinner theatre shows at The Jester's Court!

"We started our dinner theatre series at Jester's back in 2014, so it seemed fitting to return to our roots," explained Durham Improv founder, Stephanie Herrera, "During covid my work in TV and Film took off and live theatre was dark. But my theatre roots keep calling me back, and I rounded up several of my original cast members to help bring back our signature dinner theatre shows."

Durham Improv is made up of professional singers, actors, and improvisers, which puts interactive dinner theatre on another level.

The first show is their "Roaring with Laughter: 20's Murder Mystery" where there's not only a prize for the guest who guesses "Who done it," but also for best Flapper and Gangster outfits. A perfect night out with friends.

The shows run October 15th and 23rd, with doors opening at 6 p.m., and at noon for the matinee on October 25th. Tickets are $75 per person and include a buffet meal. You can buy tickets at the Jester's Court (cash only) or online by emailing Stephanie at info@durhamimprov.com.
