The walking program for 2025-26 has started again at the Blackstock Recreation Centre. Walkers are welcome to attend on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please contact Kathy Hill 905-986-4576.

Just a reminder the Coffee Drop-In at the Blackstock United Church is now on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Coffee, treats, and interesting conversations are guaranteed. Upcoming dates are November 24th and December 8th.

Barry Van Camp and Steven Back have moved to Port Perry. The community wishes them well.

A warm welcome to Raj and Jeannie who are the new owners of Penny's Mini-Mart. We hope you enjoy our small village.

The Blackstock Agricultural Society will not be hosting a Christmas Craft Sale at the Recreation Centre this year. They thank you for your support over the past few years and hope you will attend other Craft Sales in the area.

Friday, November 14th is a P.A. Day for both Elementary and Secondary School students in the Durham District School Board. Students will have the day off, but teachers and administration will be at the school.
