The annual Decoration Day Service for Cartwright Union Cemetery (3990 Edgerton Road, Blackstock) will be held on Sunday, June 8th, at 2 p.m., rain or shine. Donations are greatly appreciated. To donate, please contact the Cemetery Board's treasurer, Carl Gilbank, at 905-244-0413 or by e-mail at carlgilbank@gmail.com.
Several Fair Board members, plus their families, completed a quick clean-up of the Fairgrounds. Thank you.
A warm welcome to all new residents of our community. The following upcoming events are sure to interest you: the Truck and Tractor Pull on July 4th and 5th and the Blackstock Fair and Demolition Derby on August 23rd. All of these will be held at the Blackstock Fairgrounds. Check out our website at www.blackstockfair.org for more information.
The final two coffee drop-ins at the Blackstock-Nestleton United Church will be on Wednesday, June 11th and again on Wednesday, June 25th, from 10-11:30 a.m. before we pause for the summer. Thank you to all who have attended and made it a popular event.
