Blackstock-Nestleton United Church put on a lovely Cantata service on Sunday, followed by Souper Sunday, which were both enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to the choir members and Linda Kyte, the director, who spent extra hours practising for the performance, and to the people who volunteered to put on the lunch afterwards. The Christmas Eve service will be at 7 p.m. on December 24th. Coffee drop-in continues in the New Year, with the first one being on Wednesday, January 8th, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend for coffee, conversation and treats.

Local schools have been busy with holiday preparations, and the concerts were all well-attended and appreciated. Thank you to the teachers who put in many extra hours preparing for this. It is such a worthwhile experience for children to perform in front of an audience.

Please note the Arena will be closed December 24th, 25th, 26th, and December 31st, January 1st and 2nd. Events such as Skating, Stick N’ Puck, and Shinny are being offered on the other days, so please refer to the Township website (Leisure Guide) for times. Thank you to the Caesarea Firefighters Association for sponsoring the Public Skate on December 23rd from 2 to 3:50 p.m. and to Puckrin & Latreille Real Estate Team for sponsoring the Public Skate on December 27th, also from 2 to 3:50 p.m. These will be free for all participants.

Reading the community updates made me appreciate how local news keeps people connected. During my studies, I struggled to stay updated with events while managing coursework, so I once wanted help with assignment UK when deadlines overlapped with volunteer activities. It helped me stay engaged both academically and socially. The post reminds me that balance is important for learning and community involvement. nice post

I enjoyed reading the Blackstock news post about local events and how neighbours celebrated and supported each other in different activities this year, and it showed how close the community feels. I remember helping out at a school event once and trying to balance my college work at the same time, so I used TAFE courses homework help to keep my studies on track and still be part of the fun. It made me see that good support can make learning feel easier and more calm.
