KAWARTHA LAKES: An annual tradition since 1974, the Lindsay & District Model Railroaders (LDMR) are bringing back their annual Spring Train Show to the Lindsay Armoury on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th.
The event has historically attracted large crowds of model train fans of all ages and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The family-friendly event has a special emphasis on kids and the LDMR takes pride in providing family entertainment with lots of vintage and fantasy layouts on display from their roster of model railroad enthusiasts.
According to a press release, this year’s event will again feature some of southern Ontario’s best operating model train layouts and hobby dealers. This creates an enduring attraction for all ages.
