Zephyr Library Open House on April 20th

DARRYL KNIGHT The Standard

UXBRIDGE: Next month, local stakeholders can learn more about a proposed plan to move the Zephyr branch of the Uxbridge Public Library to a dedicated space within the Zephyr Community Hall.

The plan was originally pitched last year, and if approved would see the Zephyr branch of the library relocated within the Community Hall. The drop-in event is slated to take place on Saturday, April 20th, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Zephyr Community Hall, located at 310 Zephyr Road.

According to a press release, the township and library board are planning to present additional information about these proposed changes, as well as answering questions and listening to feedback from local residents, with multiple stations set up to gather feedback and collect suggestions from the community.

For additional information about the proposed changes, please contact Director of Community Services Amanda Ferraro at aferraro@uxbridge.ca or by phone, at 905-852-9181, extension 540.
