UXBRIDGE: The Uxbridge Community Toy Drive is looking to make the holidays bright once again for local families.

The 2023 edition of the toy drive has begun, with drop off points, for donations, posted at BodyFit, Canadian Tire Uxbridge, McDonalds, Zehrs and Uxbridge Bruins home games. Donations can also be made or requested online, at www.uxbridgetoydrive.com.

“The Christmas season is here once again! As always, I'm happy to announce our Annual Toy Drive is ready to go for 2023,” Uxbridge Canadian Tire owner, Pat Higgins wrote in an email to The Standard.

In a press release, for the toy drive, it read, they are “always in need of donations for teenagers and infants," and cash and gift card donations “are always welcome as well.”

Those looking to donate to the toy drive are being asked to have their donations in by December 19th.

“This will give us time to pick up, sort and distribute toys in time for Christmas,” the press release explained.
