UXBRIDGE: With just a few weeks remaining in 2019, councillors and township staff will turn their attention to the 2020 municipal budget next month, with the schedule for budget discussions recently announced by the municipality.
The budget deliberations are open to the public. Budget meetings are scheduled to take place in Council Chambers at Town Hall, at 51 Toronto Street South: Tuesday, December 10th, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, December 12th from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 17th from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Additional meetings are planned for January if needed. The approval and adoption of the final budget is expected to take place in late January or early February. Residents may contact their Ward Councillor directly to ask questions or express their opinions about the 2020/2021 Budget.
