Uxbridge and Zephyr Public Libraries close

UXBRIDGE: In accordance with the Ontario Government’s Declaration of Emergency, to Protect the Public, the Township has closed both the Uxbridge and Zephyr Public Libraries until further notice. Please check their website and or our Facebook page for updates on this temporary closure. Once a date has been set for reopening, they will send an email with that information. They wanted to reach out and assure the public that the Uxbridge and Zephyr Libraries are doing everything they can to make this easier for their patrons. Some of the changes are as follows: • All items currently checked out are now due April 30th, 2020. • Fines will not be incurred on any items until we are able to reopen. • All fines incurred between March 13th, 2020 and March 17th, 2020 have been waived. • Holds and reserves will be suspended and available to their patrons once we reopen. Please keep in mind that the library has a variety of eResources available 24/7. These include Libby/Overdrive, Britannica online, World Book Online and Kids InfoBits. Please use the links on their website.
