New Year’s Eve celebrations will begin a little earlier in Port Perry this year, with the recent announcement, the Central Ontario Wolves have been selected as the host for this year’s Under-18 AAA East All Star game, at Scugog Arena.
The festivities get underway at 11 a.m., with a special free family skate, and all participants are urged to wear their team’s jersey, to show off the tremendous support for minor hockey across North Durham.
The game is slated to get underway at noon, and the top players from across the East Division will be gathered for the event. As of press time, a pair of Central Ontario players have been named to the roster, Jordan Fitger and James Davidson. The game will also include free admission to all fans, with generous support from sponsors including: Crusty’s Pizza, Williamson GM Uxbridge, Sony PlayStation, Electrolit and the Township of Scugog.
