NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: While the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their entire 2020/2021 season, the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) plans to begin to play this autumn.

In a recent statement from Commissioner Terry Whiteside, released on Twitter, the league announced, October 1st had been chosen as the start date for the 2021/2022 season.

“The schedules for the eight divisions are being worked on, and they will be announced in the upcoming weeks,” the Commissioner’s statement read. “More details, along with [the] playoff format and dates, will be forthcoming as well.”

The Port Perry MoJacks, Uxbridge Bruins and Little Britain Merchants all play in the PJHL’s Orr Division.
