SCUGOG: The 17th annual local celebration of all things dog, titled Dog Days of Scugog, will be held this weekend.
The annual dog festival will take place on Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st at the Scugog Shores Museum Village, 16210 Island Rd. on Scugog Island. The event will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days.
Some things people can expect at the annual event include Wiener Dog Races, performances from the WoofJocks Canine All Stars, dog fashion shows, a vendors market and free contests.
Entrance into the event is $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and $2 for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Children 4 years and under get in free.
