Oliver Jr set for the stage in Sunderland

BROCK: Opening night is fast approaching for the latest theatrical offering from the Sunderland Lions Community Theatre, with Oliver Jr set to debut on the stage at the Town Hall Performing Arts Centre in November.

The cast and crew have been toiling for months on this year’s production, which is an adapted version of the Charles Dickens classic ‘Oliver Twist’ featuring a talented cast of local youth.

The show opens on Friday, Nov. 10th, and will run for two weekends with additional shows scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12th, Sunday, Nov. 13th, Friday, Nov. 17th, Saturday, Nov. 18th, and wrapping up on Sunday, Nov. 19th. The Friday shows begin at 7 p.m., while the curtain rises for the matinee performances at 2 p.m.

Advance tickets are currently available on-line through starticketing.com. Adult tickets are available for $20, while 18 and under can see the show for $17.
