NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: There are a total of 18 active COVID-19 cases in the North Durham and Kawartha Lakes regions. According to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has ten active cases, all listed in home isolation as of press time. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 378 resolved cases.
Uxbridge has five active cases in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 478 resolved cases. For a second straight week, Brock Township has zero active COVID-19 cases. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 192 resolved cases.
Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting Kawartha Lakes has three unresolved/active cases, 1,248 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
