During the summer months, swimming is an excellent option! Of course with the winter months approaching, having a friendly snowball fight or skating on the lake is a great idea. It really all depends on what your fitness level is.

Loosing bone density and muscle mass is not an inevitable part of aging and only happens when you adopt a more sedentary lifestyle. If you find it hard to keep up with your grandkids, then some small changes will help. Strength training is a wonderful way to increase your overall strength and improve muscle mass. This can help you pick up your grandkids and give them a hug!
