On behalf of the Port Perry Walk for Dog Guides, we want to thank Peter Bethlenfalvy for his article on Dog Gone red tape last week and clarifying the health regulations bringing them into the 21st century by allowing businesses the choice of allowing dogs in low risk packaged foods locations after an anonymous malicious complaint against Second Wedge’s tradition. Thank you also to Lindsay Park for her behind the scenes work in getting this change expedited. The majority of people in our community love dogs. Our dogs serve as our introductions into our community and help us form new friendships. The clarifications allow choice which we support 100% and respect the minorities who want dog free spaces. Thank you.
