HTM Insurance gifts Kawartha Lakes patients with support for Ross Memorial Hospital

KIM COULTER, Communications Specialist RMH

KAWARTHA LAKES: When HTM Insurance (formerly known as Hamilton Township Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company) was founded in 1898, its mission was ‘neighbours helping neighbours’. Five generations later, the company is still committed to making a difference in the communities it calls home.

Now that Pearson Insurance has come under the HTM umbrella, its Kawartha Lakes agents are eager to continue the tradition of caring for the things their clients care about. On behalf of HTM Insurance, Amanda Hartin and Cam Atkinson presented a gift of $1,000 to Erin Coons, RMH Foundation CEO.

The funds will help fund the bedside tools and life-saving technology that helps the Ross Team care for patients in their time of need. These include equipment and projects that are not covered by government funding, such as the new MRI and CT Scanner, the new fleet of IV pumps and the clinical information system.

“As longtime members of our hospital donor family with Pearson Insurance, we’re happy to extend a warm welcome to Amanda Hartin and Cameron Atkinson as HTM agents, and share our sincere gratitude for their generosity,” said Erin Coons.
