Today, November first, has come and gone for another year, and we dropped back to standard time, giving us more morning light. Time seems to fly. We can’t complain about the perfect weather for the farmers to get the corn crop off and just for you and me to finish the outdoor cleanup."

The Epsom Girls enjoyed time together this past Friday at the Mandarin, catching up on the joys of our family life and, I guess, those aches and pains that come with age.

I’m reminded of a Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers song, “You Can’t Make Old Friends.” Check it out. It’s a great song. What would we do without the friends we grew up with, went to school with and kept in touch with?

I wish everyone celebrating a November birthday or anniversary a memory to last through the year.

For our friends who are not well, we wish them a speedy return to full health.

Come to worship at Epsom United Church this Sunday, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Edith Ann presiding and fellowship to follow.
