Summer has lived up to its name, hot and even hotter this week, as predicted. We will take it in stride because before long, the cold and snow will change our complaints.
Our family had a lovely visit with our brother Jerry’s daughter, Jill Asling and Danny Monk from Lethbridge on Thursday. Although they have many relatives in this area, Danny has a good job to go back to there.
Our community is excited to wish a very special Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, neighbour and friend a Happy 100th birthday on Wednesday, July 15th. Dorothy Munro is an example of a beautiful person in every way. Dorothy has lived in the Epsom community since she came here as a young bride of Ray Munro, probably 80-plus years ago. Happy Birthday, Dorothy, with wishes for love, good health, and happiness in all your days ahead.
There will be no church service in Epsom during July. Remember the Sunday evening worship services at Glen Major, at 7 p.m., with this week's speaker, Rev. Bill Fritz and Friends Ministry.
