EPSOM & UTICA by Faye Ashton

March break has passed, and the first day of Spring, March 20th, blew in quite cool.

Students will be back in class for almost two weeks before the four-day long, Easter weekend, and then it’s on to the end of the learning year. Seems impossible!

Anyone interested in a 4H program, remember to go to Parish Lanes, in Uxbridge, on Sunday, March 26th, from 1 to 3 p.m., to learn more about that amazing program.

This is your invitation to have breakfast at the Epsom United Church on Good Friday, at 9 a.m., in support of the Canadian Foodgrains Project. I’m sure the farmers have made the decision about what the planting is this year, to help feed the hungry around the world.

Durham Farm Connection is holding an Open House at Luther Vipond Memorial Arena, in Brooklin, on Wednesday, April 5th, from 3:30 to 8 p.m. This is your invitation for hands-on activities for families with farm animals and farming activities, to explore.

You are welcome to worship at Epsom United Church on Sunday, March 26th, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. EdithAnn, with fellowship to follow.
