EPSOM/UTICA by Faye Ashton

We’re experiencing an old-fashioned winter, lots of snow, cold weather and neighbours helping neighbours, what a great place to live. From the homes of Werner and Mcllvride in Utica, we would like to thank the Good Samaritan who ploughed our driveway after Monday’s blizzard. Whoever you are, we truly appreciate your kindness, thoughtfulness and effort.

We are thankful to know James Houghland is home from the hospital and feeling much improved. Just don’t work too hard, James. Our hearts were saddened when we heard of the passing of Mary Jean Dobson Till. When Bethesda, Epsom and Utica was a three-point charge (until 1954), there were many times we met together at Church events. Mary Jean also taught our students here at Epsom school. Condolences to Mary Jean’s family and the Greenbank community where she and Glen made their home. Please email your news to Faye.eaglesnest@gmail.com.
