SCUGOG: Edge Motorsports is once again bringing the demolition derby to the Port Perry Fair.
The derby, back by popular demand, will be held at the fairgrounds this Sunday, September 4th, at 6 p.m.
Organizers are expecting a larger than usual crowd due to the two year hiatus because of Covid.
“Any fair in Ontario, the demo derby is usually the number one draw,” Ralph Moore of Edge Motorsports told The Standard.
Organizers expect at least 30 vehicles to compete in the derby.
With a full day of events scheduled on Sunday at the fair, Mr. Moore encourages people to take advantage of everything the fair has to offer.
“It’s going to be action packed. You want to be at the Port Perry Fair on Sunday,” he said. “Port Perry is probably one of the best three day fairs in Ontario.”
