COVID-19 cases starting to increase again locally

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA LAKES: COVID-19 case numbers are starting to rise again in North Durham.

According to the Durham Regional Health Department, Scugog has five active cases, all listed in home isolation as of press time. To date, Scugog has had 17 COVID-19 related deaths and 333 resolved cases.

Uxbridge currently has one active case in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 443 resolved cases and 26 deaths. Brock Township has seven active cases, six of which are in home isolation and one in a hospital. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 171 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting Kawartha Lakes has 17 unresolved/active cases, 1,106 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
