COVID-19 cases slowly rising in North Durham

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: There are currently eight active cases of COVID-19 in North Durham.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Uxbridge has four active cases, all listed in home isolation as of press time. To date, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 449 resolved cases.

Scugog has three active cases in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 340 resolved cases. Brock Township has one active case in home isolation. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 184 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting Kawartha Lakes has 20 unresolved/ active cases, 1,160 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
