COVID-19 Cases remain low in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA LAKES: Communities in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes continue to see the lowest number of active COVID-19 cases they’ve had in months.

As of press time, according to the Durham Regional Health Department, Uxbridge reported one active case listed in home isolation. To date, Uxbridge has had 441 resolved cases and 26 deaths.

Brock Township currently has one active case in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Brock has had three deaths and 156 resolved cases. Scugog reported zero active cases of COVID-19 at the moment. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 330 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported Kawartha Lakes has 10 unresolved cases, 1,028 resolved cases and 57 deaths.
