Cases continuing to decline in North Durham, Kawartha Lakes

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local communities are continuing to see a trend of decreasing active COVID-19 cases.

As of press time, according to the Durham Regional Health Department, Uxbridge has 20 active cases, all listed in home isolation. To date, Uxbridge has had 405 resolved cases and 25 deaths.

Scugog has 18 active cases, all in-home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 309 resolved cases and 17 deaths. Brock Township has 14 active cases in home isolation. To date, Brock has had two deaths and 137 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reports Kawartha Lakes has 36 unresolved cases, 744 resolved cases and 56 deaths.
