Cases continue to be in single digits in North Durham, Kawartha Lakes

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local North Durham and Kawartha Lakes communities continue to see low COVID-19 case numbers. As of press time, according to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has two active cases, both in-home isolation. To date, Scugog has had 17 deaths and 400 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has one active case in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 26 deaths and 492 resolved cases. Brock Township also has one active case in home isolation. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 198 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has three unresolved/active cases, 1,280 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
