Residents are invited to step out and enjoy some lively country line dancing in Cannington at the Cannington Legion Community Health Center. Instructor-led sessions are held at the Legion, located at 72 Peace Street, on Monday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. These classes are open to both new and experienced dancers and feature a fun mix of country favourites and Top 40 hits.

For those looking to try something different, Drumming for Health will take place at the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre, 176 Main Street, Beaverton. The first session is scheduled for January 20th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with another session on Tuesday, January 27th, at the same time and location.

Participants will learn basic hand-drumming techniques using a variety of African hand drums while enjoying rhythm-based activities and creating music together. No previous experience is required. To register, please contact Loretta Fernandez at 705-432-3322, extension 106.
