Canada Day Contest for Durham Youth

DURHAM: Lindsey Park, Member of Provincial Parliament for Durham, is pleased to launch a Canada Day contest for kids and youth in Durham. This year we will be celebrating differently, but that won’t stop us from celebrating the greatest country in the world and showing our Canadian spirit. Kids in Kindergarten to Grade 6 can enter the contest by sending MPP Park a colouring, a drawing, or a painting celebrating Canada. Youth in Grades 7 to 12 can send MPP Park a piece of creative writing on what it means to them to be a Canadian. Entries must be received by June 26th, at 4 p.m. Contestants can upload their entries using the form found at lindseyparkmpp.ca/Canada or email them to lindsey.park@pc.ola.org. The winning entries will be displayed at MPP Park’s constituency office in Bowmanville, and the winning youth will receive a small prize. This contest is open to kids and youth in the Durham riding. For full contest details, go to lindseyparkmpp.ca/Canada.
