I hope some of you tried out the cornhole night on January 28th at the Recreation Centre, hosted by the Lions Club. If there is enough interest, perhaps another evening will be offered, or even a league started. If you would like to become a member of the Blackstock Lions Club, or would simply like more information about the club, please contact Lion Lynne Gallant at lynnegallant711@gmail.com. They are always open to new ideas to support our community.
The Blacsktock Agricultural Society has rescheduled its AGM to Wednesday, February 11th at the Blackstock Recreation Centre at 6:30 p.m. As this is our regular meeting night, we will serve dessert at 6:30 p.m., followed by the AGM and then our regular business meeting. All are welcome to attend.

In third place, with 50.5 points was the team of Jim and Noeleen Dileva, Doug Rodriguez, Blair Gerard. We again have 10 teams playing in the second schedule.

Thank you for sharing such a well-organized update on the local community events. The way you highlighted activities like the cornhole night and the curling schedule was very clear and engaging. I recently came across a similar discussion on a local wellness blog, https://www.rosedalewellness.com/ and it offered some interesting perspectives on community involvement and keeping residents active. Posts like yours really help readers stay connected and informed.
It’s wonderful to see such strong community spirit in Blackstock! Events like the cornhole night at the Recreation Centre bring people together in the same fun and energetic way a game of Ragdoll Hit brings players together—full of friendly competition and laughter. If there’s enough interest to start a league, that could become a fantastic regular social highlight for the community.
