The Blackstock Co-op Nursery School (BCNS) is running its first official online fundraiser of the year with Mom’s Pantry.Mom’s Pantry has an extensive selection of pastry items, cookie dough, muffin mixes and other baking products as well as appetizers, soup, pizza, protein mixes, tea and seasoning spices. There are dozens of items that would also make great holiday gifts if you’re looking to support not only BCNS, but a Canadian company. You can place your order with any of the school’s parents OR online at Once you are ready to check out, it will prompt you to select Fundraising Order or Personal Order. Select Fundraising Order and use BCNS’s ORDER NUMBER: 318983 and GROUP PASSCODE: 25694.The deadline for orders is Thursday November, 19th. Purchases will automatically contribute 40 percent of proceeds to the non-profit nursery school. Delivery will be scheduled for the beginning of December, just in time for the holidays. BCNS families and those who placed direct orders using the BCNS fundraiser codes will be notified of the drop date via email. Pick up and/or family deliveries will be arranged in the safest possible manner, with all COVID-19 protocols in place. For more information, please visit the BCNS events page at: or send an email to: The Blackstock-Nestleton United Church will host an online virtual Remembrance Day Service on November 11th, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The online/virtual ceremony will be complete with music and prayers. The Cenotaph with its wreaths will be on display. And the soldiers’ names as well as letters sent home from several veterans will also be read. All are welcome to join.
